We understand that your first visit to a choir or orchestra rehearsal at The Chapel can be a bit overwhelming—meeting lots of new people, finding music, knowing where to sit, etc. We've included this resource to help you know what to expect on your first few visits. On your first week, come to the Choir Room (for choir) or Harvest Room (for orchestra) a little before 6:30 on Wednesday. You may wish to contact Donna before you come so that we can look for you. Or, if you prefer, just show up! Donna (our Worship Assistant) or Phyllis (for orchestra), will greet you and give you a card to fill out that night, which includes your name and other information so that we can contact you. You will also get a Welcome Packet with information about our ministry and philosophy. Pat (our choir librarian) will give prospective choir members music for the night, and orchestra players will be directed to their section and music. If you decide that this is a place you want to serve, Donna will set up a time to meet with you. This usually takes place on a Wednesday night at 6:00. You'll meet in the Choir Room for a brief orientation with Donna and Jim (our Worship Pastor), who will answer any questions you have and pray with you. And that's it! Below are pdfs that we hand out to visitors. Get a jump on your first visit by downloading them today! New Member Personal Information Sheet I We want to get to know you!
